Colorado moves ahead with shootout win over FC Dallas (USA Today)

Joe Cannon had 14 saves and made a diving stop of Roberto Mina's shot in the fifth round of the shootout Saturday to help Colorado beat FC Dallas and advance to the Western final. The Rapids won the first playoff shootout 5-4 after a 1-1 tie in regulation and a 1-1 overtime.
