Wildfire chars more than 300 acres in southwestern Colorado (KVIA)

RED MESA, Colo. A wildfire spread rapidly in dry tall grass and pinion and juniper trees tonight near the Colorado-New Mexico border on Ute Mountain Ute land, scorching 300 acres.
